Due to the on-going expansion at KpH Deconstruction Services Ltd, we are looking for a Health and Safety (H&S) Assistant to work with Marilla King-Smith, our company’s H&S Manager. To succeed in this role you will be expected to carry out the following roles and responsibilities with a comfortable level of autonomy:

  • Work with the H&S Manager to coordinate the health, safety and environmental process for the company; ensuring all relevant areas of the business achieve minimum agreed levels of compliance.
  • Assisting with ensuring all accidents are fully investigated correctly in line with company polices.
  • Support the H&S Team in sharing good practice. This will include creating and distributing H&S Alerts and Good Practice Bulletins.
  • Production of statistical information in relation to H&S performance.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of new or revised legislation and other practical aspects of H&S.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of legislation and codes of practice applicable to KpH’s business.
  • Assist in the review all risk assessments and high risk activities, ensuring adequate control measures are in place.
  • Arrange any external H&S training in conjunction with business requirements.
  • Carry out H&S audits on site and ensure any remedial/corrective action is completed and recorded.
  • Input data within company and client databases.
  • Promote (via the Management Team, Supervisors and HR) the requirement for employees to be informed of their responsibilities and receive adequate training in safety, quality and environmental matters.

Person Specification:


  • Excellent IT and communication skills.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as contribute to and support H&S objectives.


  • Experience in construction/demolition H&S.
  • Evidence of H&S qualifications or working towards, for example, NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.

The Candidate must be willing to cover the London/M25 region (although some sites are national) and be able to travel to the company’s Headquarters in Caterham, Surrey.

KpH Deconstruction Services Ltd are looking for a Junior Estimating Surveyor to join their Estimating Team.

The role requires a dynamic, forward thinking individual who has an interest in working within the Deconstruction Industry. Whilst experience is not essential the role requires that the successful candidate is educated to degree level.

Working out of our Head Office in Surrey with competitive rates of pay this role would be suited to an individual starting out in their career who is looking for guidance and coaching.

KpH Deconstruction Services Ltd are pleased to invite candidates to apply for a Client Relationship Coordinator role.

This is an exciting opportunity with competitive rates of pay which will allow them to become an integral part of a busy well established Operations Team.

The role, based at our Head Office in Caterham, is focused around maintaining the needs of existing and new clients. This may include setting up new meetings, researching the market and looking for new business lead opportunities.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience in the field of Client Relationship Management and preferably will have experience working within the Construction Sector. Exemplary communication skills will be required as well as an ability to self-motivate and meet agreed targets and objectives.
