KpH Participate in Willmott Dixon Careers Open Day
KpH Deconstruction attended a Careers Open Day on 20 November 2017 which had been brilliantly organised by Willmott Dixon Interiors and the Construction Youth Trust. The event was designed to give students and inexperienced individuals an opportunity to meet employers and gain a deeper insight into career paths in the Construction industry.
For us as an employer, it was a fantastic opportunity to meet the next generation of potential employees and offer them a position in our specially developed training programme for Trainee Labourers. Our programme is designed to support and help keen and interested individuals on their journey from their starting role as a Trainee Labourer to a fully qualified Labourer and skilled Operative.
We were lucky enough to shortlist two suitable candidates on the day of the event who were keen to apply for the Trainee Labourer position, and we hope this will lead to welcoming them onto our team in the not too distant future.
We very much enjoyed taking part in this event, and sharing our experience and knowledge with up-and-coming talent, and we will be looking to participate in more career progression and education based Open Days in the future.
